*UPDATED* FIFA 23 Beta release date predictions & how to get a closed Beta code

Last Updated:

With fans still waiting for the FIFA 23 announcement, a FIFA 23 beta is still unknown.

Last year, EA gave us access to the FIFA 22 closed beta from August 11th until September 1st, 2021.

Codes were sent to selected FIFA players in the US and UK who opted in to receive EA emails with EA accounts already linked.

If we are treated to a FIFA 23 Closed Beta, then we predict players will be able to test out game modes such as Career Mode, Ultimate Team, Kick-Off, and more.

FIFA 23 Beta release date & start time predictions

The FIFA 22 Closed Beta began on August 11th, running until September 1st.

we predict that the FIFA 23 Beta release date could once again be mid-August, 2022.

The only reason for doubt at this stage is the fact that FIFA 23 is still not announced.

FIFA 22 was released on September 27th, 2021, meaning the Closed Beta ended a mere 26 days before launch.

This means as the game will be mostly developed by mid-August, we could get to see almost any game mode with the FIFA 23 Beta.

When does the FIFA 23 Beta end?

The FIFA 22 Beta lasted for 21 days, and we much expect the same again for FIFA 23.

If our FIFA 23 Beta release date prediction is on the money, then we expect the beta to end around the start of September.

Can you transfer FIFA 23 Beta codes?

No, you cannot transfer beta codes.

If you receive a FIFA 23 beta code, it is tied to your EA account and cannot be shared with friends.

Will there be a FIFA 23 open Beta?

Nothing has been confirmed so all of our predictions are based on last year’s title.

Things like a FIFA 23 demo are unlikely to happen, as we saw no demo for FIFA 22.

We think there will not be an open beta, however, a closed beta like last time could be on the cards.

How to get a FIFA 23 Beta code

Last year, If you opted in to get EA emails and have been chosen to participate in the FIFA 22 Closed Beta, you were emailed a code to play.

We think selected FIFA players in the US and the UK who have opted in to get EA emails to the email address that’s linked to their EA Account have the best chance of participating.

Can you play Career Mode in the FIFA 23 Beta?

With FIFA 22, we saw four different playable game modes.

Career Mode was one of them, meaning it is highly likely to see this game mode in the FIFA 23 Beta.

How to opt into emails from EA

Opt into our emails for a chance to get invited to try the Beta. Go to your EA Account Email Preferences and check the box.

  • If you’ve changed your email address or no longer have access to the one you used to create your account, swap emails from one account to another.
  • If you can’t remember which email address you’re using for your EA Account, use this article for help finding it.
  • You can also add a secondary email address to your account. This helps you reset your password if you’re locked out of your EA Account and primary email address. You can find the Secondary Email section at the bottom of the Security tab

Will you have to sign an NDA to participate in the FIFA 23 Beta?

It is against the rules set by EA to stream and capture images of Closed Beta gameplay.

Breaking these rules will result in you losing access to the beta and then placed on a no-access list for future opportunities. You’ll also get a strike on any channels that you stream the Beta from.

Will the FIFA 23 Beta be cross platform?

closed beta access was on the Xbox and PlayStation platforms only last year and we susp[etc it will be a similar story once again for FIFA 23.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
